After several years of hands-on experience in the construction industry, Josh co-founded a successful venture by partnering with a small group of investors to acquire several pawnshops across the Phoenix Valley. The business expanded into the largest privately owned pawn franchise in Arizona before its successful sale in 2016.
Transitioning to healthcare, Josh spent the next Six years owning and operating assisted living homes. As a certified caregiver and a licensed assisted living facility manager through the Arizona State Board of Nursing, he developed deep expertise in elder care and a strong commitment to compassionate, family-centered service.
It was through this work in assisted living that Josh identified a clear need for a more personalized, family-owned direct cremation provider—one that prioritizes dignity, simplicity, and affordability. This insight led him to establish Beyond Cremation, dedicated to serving families during difficult times with integrity and care.
An Eagle Scout, Josh carries forward the values of leadership, service, and preparedness instilled in his youth. In his personal time, he enjoys hiking Arizona’s scenic trails, playing the piano, and cherishing moments with his family. He is happily married and the father of two young children.
